What was your first social network? As I mentioned mine was the BBS world, in fact it was Sunshine BBS, run by a friend on mine in Delta BC, he had 2 lines going in he ran it for years!

CNN posted a great debate between a Boomer and a Millennial:

 

"OK Boomer" started on the platform Tik Tok and exploded into the meme of the moment. Turns out young people trying to launch into a gig economy with little job security on a rapidly warming planet, with far less opportunity for the wealth and creature comforts that their parents and grandparents enjoyed (A car? A house? Ha!) don't want to be lectured by Baby Boomers, the generation who put them into this kind of shape.

"When the pensions and public health-care systems that Canadians rely on today were first put in place in the 1960s, the life expectancy of a man was 69 years, just four years after he was likely to retire. But a man who turns 65 today will live, on average, another 19 years, and a woman will live another 22 years, according to Statistics Canada.”

Rapid Prototyping a Digital Course - GM 21

Today on Grey Matters I am going to share one of my genius ideas for rapid prototyping an online course.

You can deliver a course in days instead of months.

 

I have used this system to create more than 10 online courses and list builders. The most important part of the system is the Webinar  Delivery, which encourages questions which we use to fill in any important missing content from the curriculum.

 

Steps:

1 Create a Slide Show (course content)

2 Record Screencast of presentation

3 Upload Video to Online service

4 Host Webinar  delivering content

5 Host Q&A in the webinar to flesh out the course content

6 Create supporting content based on Q&A

7 Host resulting content in LMS (Thinkific)
